Rainbow & Raiden

Raiden makes another appearance. Still have not seen his face. Always with his back toward me. I look back, and he has vanished.

Humpty Dumpty

I watched her earlier for a moment. She was pacing back and forth by The Bench with a cigarette. She would occasionally wave to people, seemed a little intoxicated but I can make a fare judgment about that. I look back over, and she is in mid fall, and lands on her butt. She tries to get back up, but cannot. Tries again, almost but no success. I debated running down and helping her up, but then after the third try or so, she got it. Within 5 minutes, 2 police cars and an ambulance show up. Kind of funny how no one went to help her, but yet someone from across the street probably just called 911. I am assuming whoever made the call determined this lady was just another drug abuser or alcoholic from the magical hotel.

Lipstick & Tele

If you grew up in Ventura County, chances are you have seen or heard of the Lipstick Lady.
Here she is, on the left. Sher always has bright pink or red lipstick on. It is not perfectly applied, in fact, it is chaotic. This is her style, chaotic. She holds her head high every time I see her. I have seen her in Thousand Oaks, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Camarillo, & the list goes on. She seems content. A gentleman walking bu offered her some McDonald's french fries, which she accepted. He must have know who she is. To the right we have Tele. She kept busy, smiling, chatting, typical gestures of a teenage girl on the phone. Lipstick Lady did not seem to dig it all that much.

Plump Green

Sporting the most hideous shoes humans have invented.
Plump Green did not move much. Did not do much.
Smoked her cigarette. Slowly made her way to and from
The Bench. I do giver her recognition for at least matching
her cap to her shoes. Fancy.

Him & Her

Classy is how they do it. Striking pose without thinking about it.
If this is not an Forever 21 ad, you can call me Human.
They were a flash, in & out, I had a quick moment.
The creeper out back looks solid as well.

Old Quiet

Old Quiet was still as The Bench. She would slowly rotate her head, from West to East.
She chose the middle seat, because for those 20 minutes, it was her bench. An acquaintance arrived in a sedan, notified Old Quiet that the car was just a few spaces down. The acquaintance
made sure the door was unlocked on the passenger side. Sadly, she did not follow through with the kind gesture of holding the door for such a diamond. On she went, quietly.

Jimmy & Blood

Quite the duo. Jimmy is an animated speaker. Blood, not so much. They were having a solid conversation for a good ten minutes. They returned to the shambles of a hotel, filled with ghosts and needles.

Po Po @ The Bench

Used Cigarettes

She picks up cigarettes off the ground, from the gutter, and bums them all day everyday.
It is such a great motivator to not smoke. So sad to watch. As she is finishing one, she is looking for others on the ground. I will see her grab a few, open them up, and roll all the old tobacco into a new cigarette from her papers.

Angel Skater

Just a kid waiting on a bus. Grandma in the back was too scared to sit. She almost sat down a couple of times when she saw him wading away from the bench, then he would sit back down, and she would turn her direction.

Granny Flats

Granny took the bus around 9am. She was hanging her head low.
The morning cigarette kept her breathing & looking around.
The bus opened it's doors, and lowered it's suspension, for this
old timer who was about to fill the bus with her gloom.

Romeo & Juliet

Cool, & calm, these two humans enjoyed a quick sit on the degenerate bench.
A bit refreshing over the typical belly showing, coffee stained shirt, chain smoking, tired bus riders I typically see, not that there is anything wrong with those types. I think he just killed two men a couple blocks up to protect & save his woman, & now he just needed to sit a few to regain his composure.

She's Got a Ticket To Ride

She did not believe in a bench. She stood. Motionless. Strong. Ready.
Then she took that ride.
